Jared Dylan (born September 7th, 1994) is an American alternative rock/pop singer-songwriter, artist, and musician known for his strong lyrics and his work in the soft rock and acoustic genres. He is also known for conceiving and organizing the first “inclusive” rock and roll band for www.pathwayskids.org.
Jared was born and raised in New Jersey. His artistic talent was evident at a very young age – he is a prolific songwriter and passionate vocalist. Jared has worked with and performed with major rock icons such as Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Joey Molland (Badfinger), and Kip Winger (Alice Cooper/Winger). By age 16, Jared had completed more than 25 modern American music and classical compositions.
His EP, In Panic, released in April of 2012, is produced by multi-platinum producer Anthony J. Resta. It is currently Available on Pandora. His single Mistakes is currently receiving national radio attention and can be heard around the world on stations in Australia, New Zealand, England, Switzerland, and more.
Jared has been named a 2011 and 2012 Band "On the Verge" by Aquarian Weekly Magazine. His song Ready, Set, Stun was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition last year and "In Panic" was chosen this year. Dylan was a cast member on Season 3 of NBC's The Voice.
Jared currently studies at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music where he participates in the highly competitive Bruce Hornsby Contemporary American Songwriting Program.
